Why I Call It The Creative Masculine

I’ve been asked countless times why I call my mens’ group The Creative Masculine.

It’s a fair question.

There are many men’s groups that focus on cultivating integrity, consistency, purpose, and consciousness — all of which are vital pillars of masculine development.

But from what I’ve seen, many of these containers stop there.
They become rigid. Linear. Even a little outdated.

The world we live in is more polarized than ever.
Black and white thinking. You’re either with me or against me.
And while structure is essential…
Without creativity, we miss the nuance.
We lose the subtlety, the artistry, the presence required to meet life as it is — not just as we want it to be.

That’s why I bring creativity into the masculine.

Because creativity allows us to imagine new outcomes.
To break old cycles.
To hold paradox.
To problem-solve in layered, emotionally intelligent ways — not just through grit or force.

Let me tell you about a man who went through this work.

A year ago, he left a salaried job to return to running his own practice. At the time, he was single, had just lost his roommates (tripling his rent overnight), and was stepping into complete uncertainty. What followed was the deepest career valley he’d ever faced.

He was behind on rent.
Worried he might lose his ability to support and care for his kids.
Emotionally wrecked.
Questioning everything.

And yet, in the middle of that storm, he showed up.
He leaned into the container of our men’s group — a space he now says saved his family, his business, and his life.

That’s the power of this work. It’s not a surface-level “men’s group.”
It’s an alchemical container for transformation.

Today, that same man’s practice is thriving.
He’s built the program he once feared launching.
He’s invested thousands back into himself.
His personal life is steady.
And he’s living from a deeper source of creative alignment than ever before.

That’s what this work is about.

When a man learns to access both his masculine and feminine energies — to embody presence and fluidity — he becomes unstoppable.
He stops outsourcing his power.
He stops numbing or escaping.
He begins to create the life that’s been calling to him for years.

I’ve watched men enter this work burdened by shame, perfectionism, or addiction…
And I’ve watched them become fathers, artists, leaders, and brothers who are fully alive.

Yes — we do the grounding work of devotion, discipline, and accountability.
But the magic?
That happens when a man learns how to stay creative in the face of chaos.

That’s what The Creative Masculine is all about.
Not just being a better man.
But becoming a truer one.
