SPHERE ONE
The Sphere of Self
Once you have completed the first sphere of energy module—the Sphere of Self—you will have created a profound connection to your instrument and a powerful sense of embodiment.
You will attune to your vocal channel in a deeper way, discovering how sound uniquely resonates in your body.
The teachings from the first sphere are essential to the rest of the practices; they cover the basics like how to breathe, sit, and stand to maximize the efficiency of your instrument.
With all of these tools at your disposal, you can harness the power and aliveness of the vibration moving through you.

Senses, 5 Bodies, & Feldenkrais Exercise
LESSON 01
This lesson offers an introduction to the five bodies—physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual—and the five senses. Together, we will ground more fully into the present moment and connect the emotions to the voice using the Feldenkrais exercise.
Einstein said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” This lesson helps shift the energy around us. Three-part breath activates and clears the vocal channel and the center column—where most of our emotional blocks reside.

LESSON 02
When all seven chakras are aligned and activated, it drastically increases the power of our instrument. This meditation details each energy center and what it represents, helping to harness the power of the voice.

LESSON 03
Non-linear movement dismantles old patterns and blocks within the physical and energetic bodies to create space for more sound and feeling. This exercise may bring up memories and pain to remove them from the instrument.

SPHERE TWO
The Sphere of Other
The second sphere covers the Sphere of Other, and you will learn how to listen with an embodied presence and truly share energy with another person.
When we are in the first Sphere of Self, we can only embrace our own experience. In the second sphere, you start the important work of sharing space and co-creating with others.
Even with a powerful connection to self, our own perspective can only take us so far without learning how to deeply listen and work with a partner.
This module also supports conflict-resolution skills by learning how to truly hear another person and empathize with them.

Mirroring
LESSON 05
Now that the body is more connected after moving through the first sphere, we can open to embodied receptivity. Mirroring is a simple exercise, but it also cultivates intimacy and vulnerability. Here we work on receiving and mirroring what is present in another.
After learning how to connect with another person through our sense of sight, we move into Partner Yoga which involves physically feeling the weight of another. Partner Yoga helps the body listen to another person without using the mind.

LESSON 06
T-group explores how we hear and receive what another person says to us. Guiding us to listen to and repeat the other person’s experience, this exercise can reveal how much we hear, project, or misunderstand.

LESSON 07
Only 10 percent of what we read actually comes from the text in front of us; the rest originates from our bodies’ relationship to the text. The Lee Breuer Exercise enriches the meaning of the language we speak and connects our ability to share with the resonance of the heart.

MODULE 03
SPHERE THREE
The Sphere of Audience
The final module brings all of the skills you have learned together. From here, a new sense of confidence and wholeness will take hold in your instrument and translate to the way you present yourself.
You will be grounded and able to project your voice proportionally to any space you are performing in, feeling present on a large stageor on camera. You will be able to powerfully convey your message while feeling free and relaxed in your gift. This is where you can start to play and have fun in your expression as well.

Punctuation Walks/"Punc Walks"
LESSON 09
Punctuation Walks show us how to embody text with our entire instrument. This exercise activates the full body and gives permission to express the fullness of each sentence we are speaking.
The Laban Method highlights the weight, space, and movement of text to more fully embody the words we speak.

Stick/Ball/Veil -- Will/Heart/Intellect
LESSON 11
This exercise explores where we feel comfortable generating energy from within us: the will, the heart, or the intellect. Stick/Ball/Veil empowers us to know where we are sharing from in our bodies and how to align with what we are truly saying.
Now that we have opened to the fullness of our expression, we move into this exercise that hones our ability to use only what we need to be heard. Just Enough refines our relationship with the space around us to find the right amount of movement, volume, and resonance.

I have worked as an actor, coach, mentor, and creator for over 25 years, and the most requested aspect of my work has always revolved around helping others feel strong in their voice.
In the digital age, we have lost so much of the nuance and power of embodied speech. I feel strongly that this work has never been more important; in a sea of information, so few people are able to truly tap in and share with depth.
This course comes as the result of decades of my personal and professional work. I have blended 12 of my favorite synergistic exercises to free artists’ voices while guiding them back to the sovereignty of their bodies.
I believe it is my life’s work to offer a clear voice through the noise, helping others share their stories with power and conviction.
